The GreenSpec Directory helps the building community find environmentally responsible products. Products listed in GreenSpec are independently evaluated for inclusion by GreenSpec editors. GreenSpec uses a “suggestion” process for adding products and retains discretion over which products to review and list. GreenSpec editors will prioritize their review of products that are part of ecoScorecard and seem likely to meet GreenSpec criteria.
BuildingGreen has endorsed ecoScorecard’s Web-based tool that supports a manufacturer’s website by cataloging its green products and providing architects and designers with the ability to evaluate each product based on its environmental characteristics.
